Setting up your profile

Setting up your profile is pretty simple, just login and navigate to My Account > Edit Profile and start filling in some information about yourself!

Exploring Pornoob

Let people know what you're up to by updating your Status in My Account. When you create a status people can also reply to it, similar to leaving comments.

Uploading photos and videos is a popular activity on Pornoob, easily batch upload 40 pictures per album, add a caption and set keywords or tags to be more explicit!

So you've edited your profile, created your privacy settings and uploaded photos. Now it's time to explore! Check out other peoples Profiles and see what stuff they've added about themselves and if you find them interesting, send a friend request.

Feeling creative? Bored of the default look of Pornoob profiles? Change yours up, personalize it! Navigate to My Account > Profile Designer, add a background, change container colors, text styles, font colors, sizes and more.

If you're just interested in discovering the hottest and latest porn, simply check out some of our galleries. Whether it's a particular porn-star or niche, we have it all. Login to rate and comment on all galleries.

Utilize our Search engine and find anything on Pornoob. You can reach our search field at the top left of any page on Pornoob.

Signing up

Pornoob offers user, model and studio accounts. Each account also theoretically encompasses sub categories, for instance a model account can be anybody aspiring to be in or currently in the industry. Studio accounts can be producers, photographers and the like.

All accounts offer the same features for the most part, no one is left in the dark, and all accounts allow full access to all of the features offered by Pornoob. Signing up is easy, just visit our Register page and pick your account type.

Login & Password

To log into Pornoob, use your email address that you signed up with. If you forgot your password just login and click "Forgot your password?" enter your email and we'll send you a new one.

My Account

My Account is your control room; you will have access to all of your settings and preferences under one roof. When clicking a tab near the top like mail box or blogs, you will find sub options for that page to the right. So, if you're in mail box you will see all the mail box options to the right.

You also can set your profile status in My Account, along with seeing a quick glance at new messages and notifications.

Searching

Search is a prominent feature on Pornoob, but know that as our community grows with porn-star and niche galleries our search results will grow as well. Pornoob doesn't scour the internet for content you've already seen, rather it searches its own galleries that are relevant to your query.

On pages like Pornstars and Niches, the top left search field will find results relevant to what you're looking at. Throughout our private beta we will be improving our search functionality to give ability to also search profile albums, blogs, events and much more!

Galleries

Galleries can contain photos and/or movies which are viewable in thumbnails or lists. You can find these options at the top right when you're looking at a particular porn-star, studio or niche gallery. You can sort by alphabetical order near the top of the page. When logged in you can rate almost everything by either clicking the yellow stars or the two thumbs icon.

There are two different types of galleries offered by Pornoob, internal and external. Think of an internal gallery where all the pictures or videos are within the Pornoob website. An external gallery will bring you to its own website. Both ways are safe, as every gallery Pornoob showcases are approved by real people following strict rules for safeguarding our user base.

Internal galleries will have four pages. When you click porn-stars for instance, you'll then be looking at a thumbnail view of porn-stars, you can then click into a porn-star and be directed to all of the available galleries from that particular porn-star. Click into a specific gallery and you'll then be looking at the set of pictures for that gallery. If you click a picture, you will see a larger, higher resolution version of that photo.

Privacy

Pornoob offers simple yet powerful privacy settings, check them out by navigating to My Account > Profile Privacy. You can set your profile viewable to everyone or friends only, turn your comments on so everyone can see them, only your friends or turn them off completely. Enable or disable your friends list or private messages. Also control who you have blocked.

Profiles

Pornoob profiles are the gateway to finding interesting conversations, new friends, blogs, photos and videos. All profiles are customizable by using our Profile Designer in My Account.

When viewing your own profile, Pornoob allows quick access to some important links like "Send message, Manage blogs, Edit friends and Edit profile". When you're viewing someone else's page, these links turn into "Send message, Add to Friends, Flag / Report, Block" and if you're a Pornstar or Studio you might see "Request Info".

You can quickly see their personals right below the contact information. You can also click on any link to find profiles that are similar.

Friends

Adding friends on Pornoob is easy, find someone you're interested in, and click "Add to Friends" on the right side of their profile. It may be wise to include an intelligent message along with your request for greater chances of approval.

You can sort your top friends that are shown on your profile by going to My Account > Manage Friends. On the upper right hand you get the option to show how many top friends are shown on your profile.

If you click "Edit My Friends" on the left you have the ability to add or delete friends and also change the order of your top friends.

While being in My Account, you can quickly gain access to your friends profile by just typing their name in the top-left search box. Pornoob will then show some friends that are relevant to what you entered.

Photos & Videos

Want to start uploading photos? Navigate to My Account > Manage Albums, type in an album name and press Create! Click the blue button that says "Click here to Select Images" You can batch upload up to 40 images per album. Once uploaded, click "Back to Album" you can now add a caption to each of your photos. If you click on the photo you can also add keywords or tags.

You can upload videos by clicking the Videos link under any album. Then click "Upload Videos" up top. Your video might take some time to load, as we convert it to a smaller and faster format. You're currently able to upload up to 15 videos.

Messages

Sending messages on Pornoob is easy and will look familiar to what you already may be used to in other popular social networking Web sites. Check out your Inbox by going to My Account and from there you have the ability to view your Inbox (new and old messages), your sent mail and notifications.

You can also go to Compose A Message, type a friend's name in and Pornoob will try to auto-suggest the right friend that you're looking for.

Status'

When using Pornoob, we simply ask "What are you up to?" If you're on other popular sites such as Facebook or Twitter you know that setting your status lets all your friends know what your up to, or what you're thinking about. Think of your status as an announcement to all your friends. Your friends can see your status via the Feed found in My Account, or in your profile. You can easily set your status by going to My Account.

Activity Feed

Inside My Account you can see updates on all your friends. By default we show everything all in one feed, but if you want to only see status' for instance, you can filter out everything by clicking the status' link.

Blogs

Blogging is a great way to express yourself and spread your voice around for free within Pornoob. You can share your blog URL to everyone as long as your blog and profile is set to public. Sending out news via your blog to get people to come back to your profile is a great way to increase your visibility and popularity.

Pornoob uses a robust yet simple text-editor to Compose your blogs. Using this editor you will be able to easily create stylish blogs in no time. A blog entry can be set to "Featured" which will show in its entirety on your profile page, think of this as a huge promo flyer right on the top of your profile. Only one blog- entry may be featured at a time.

Blogs can be set to public, or friends only just like everything else on your profile.

Events

If you have an upcoming event related to the industry, Pornoob Events will help your event get noticed. Creating an event is easy, navigate to My Account then go to the Events tab up top. Click Create Event and fill out the required information.

You can make the event invite only and only ask your friends to come, or make it open to the public and see your guest list grow! Attach an image, flyer or logo so people can get a visual representation of your event.

You can view any event you've created by going to Event Home within the Events tab in My Account. You will see it's very similar to Messages and Inbox.

Classifieds

Pornoob Classifieds is an easy way to find adult industry related jobs, services, personals and more. Navigate to My Account > Classifieds tab, click Create Post to start your classified entry. After selecting your location, choose the category and type. Fill in the title and subject then submit your classified!

You can control whether your classified is active or or disabled by clicking the Close link next to your classified entry in My Classifieds. Click Re-open to have it active again.

All Pornoob classifieds are availble to see in the Classifieds section found in the more tab at the top of every page. You can filter the entries by users, porn-stars or studios.

Connections

Porn-star and Studio accounts have the ability to perform a "Resume Request", this is easily done by visiting any porn-star or studio profile and under their Contact section, click "Request Resume". Make sure your resume is filled out in My Account > Connections to benefit from this ability.

The resume request is a simple way to have full control over your professional information. You choose who can see your resume. If someone is interested in you for a job, they may send you a request to view your resume. The recipient of this request will have a choice to either accept or deny it.

My Connections in My Account is a list of profiles that you've accepted resume requests from. Once a resume request is approved, both parties have the ability to view an html or a print-ready PDF version of the resume by going to My Connections. Think of this area as your place to manage all the people who you're sharing resumes with. You can easily stop sharing by clicking the x button. This will cancel the resume connection and make both parties resume will be private to eachother again. To protect your privacy, resume pages are set to private so only those that you've connected with can see it.

Visit your privacy options to make your resume public, this will enable you to share the resume page with everyone.

Contracts

The Contract section deals with Model and Studio profiles only. Models are able to accept a contract request and then be affiliated with that Studio on Pornoob.

Navigate to My Account > Connections > Contracts to view.

This is not a real contract, and is not legally binding in anyway, it holds no weight anywhere else other than on this website. Accepting a Contract from a Studio on Pornoob does not mean that either entity is exclusive to each other outside of Pornoob.

A Contract within Pornoob enables Studio profiles flexible control over its models communication permissions and profile themes. Being under a contract with a Studio on Pornoob allows you to be branded and affiliated with that Studios network of models. Studios that have Contract Models are shown on top of their "Friends" listing on their profile.

As a Model, you can only be part of one contract at a time on Pornoob, you cannot have multiple contracts. If you accept a contract from a Studio you must break that one to join another. By accepting a Contract from a Studio, you're allowing that Studio permission to override (not change or delete) your profile theme for branding purposes and allow/disallow certain communication settings within Pornoob. For example, not allow other Studios to bother you.

How To Send a Contract

Studios are able to Send a Contract two ways, One way is through the Contract section inside My Account. Type the Models Username that you see in their URL, you can use commas to send a Contract to multiple Models. The other by going to the Models profile and clicking the "Send Contract" link, this will populate the Models Username in the field for you.

How to Manage Your Contracts

Both Model and Studios can manage their Contracts inside My Account > Connections > Contracts. If you're a Model you can break your contract here, or view all the Models from your Contract.
